Easy vermicelli snack 🍪

Hello and welcome!

This time, as per a request, I am sharing with you a quick and easy snack recipe made using vermicelli. It’s something that you can prepare and store for some time without the fear of spoilage and could serve as a good snack at tea time. Plus, it’s something that you could count on to munch down anytime.

All you need are four ingredients:

Vermicelli (I’ve used about 400 grams)

Sweetened condensed milk (about 1/4 cup)

Cashew nuts or pistachios (few)

Ghee or oil


1. Powder the cashews or pistachios. Pistachios are more preferable. But I have used cashew nuts. I have messed up this process by powdering it excessively😬 Let it remain in small chunks rather than fine powdery form.

2. Heat a deep pan. Pour in some ghee/oil. When it is heated, roast the cashews till golden colour.
3. Add the vermicelli and roast until it turns brown.

4. Remove the pan from the heat and add sweetened condensed milk little by little and keep mixing till mix gets sticky and sweet.

5. Once the mixture has cooled slightly, stuff them in bottle caps of any desired size and push them out as shown. This process has to be done before the vermicelli hardens.

I was able to prepare about 51 of them using 400g of vermicelli , NOT to mention the amount I ate while I moulded them:D So you decide how much to take!
